The Shack
Welcome to the W8JKC and KD8GPM Amateur Radio Shack!
Me and my brother converted a storage room in our basement to build the shack. We had to pour cement, add lighting, and add access and wire for 120v, 12v, SAT TV, CCTV, Ethernet, Antenna Feeds, and ground.
Below you will find a list of all of the equipment we own or have owned in the past.
Radio Equipment:

- Homebrew Copper JPOLE for 6m, mounted at 46 feet. Strictly used with TS-2000.

- Radio Shack Double Discone, mounted to my chimney with a mast at 41 feet. Used for all scanner equipment.
Click on the picture and you can hover over each antenna to see what it is.

May not seem like much, but for a fairly new operator it is pretty good and adequate for me and my brother’s needs.
I do plan or upgrading to an Amateur Extra, and maybe will purchase some more equipment.
Please check back for more pictures later, I am working on updating this page.
