I am currently working on an APRS tracker setup for my truck.
APRS or Automatic Position Reporting System can be used to send position reports if conected to a GPS receiver, messages to other APRS users, short 1 line emails to anyone, or even looking up another ham\’s callsign on qrz.com.
This setup will be running off of my laptop with an external GPS receiver and a USB to RS232 convertor with UI-VIEW32 and AGWPE.
